The short answer is YES!

Tulum is a very welcoming place for bringing your dog. While there may not be a specific “pet-friendly” beach, we haven’t encountered any issues bringing our little dog to the public beaches. Additionally, there are several beach clubs, restaurants, parks, and public spaces where you can enjoy outdoor activities with your furry companions.

It’s important to respect local rules and regulations, including leash requirements. Needless to say, please clean up after your dogs and keep them under control.

If you are traveling from Canada or the USA, bringing your dog to Mexico is relatively straightforward. You will need a health certificate from your vet and up-to-date vaccinations.
